Джермук водопад (армянской - Ջերմուկի ջրվեժ) находится в Армении, Вайоц Дзор. На территории Армянского нагорья, Есть несколько 100 таких источников. Зачастую это целый комплекс, а один из них - Джермук, расположенный на высоте 1700-2200 футов....

Армения очень богата минеральными источниками г-н прекрасных климатических станций.В своей небольшой территории (29,8 тысяч кв.) Есть более чем 350 групп минеральных вод с более чем тысячи точек минеральных вод различного химического состава и температуры.
Тем не менее, богатейшие природные ресурсы исцеления, не используется в течение длительного времени, и только с 1925-я год в Армении, эти неисчерпаемые богатства были высоко оценены....

History of Jermuk

Historical Jermuk was built in the century A.D. In the reign of Arshkunies it used to be summer-residence and resort of the kings of Sunik and the Orbelyan counts. About the medicinal properties of the springs of Jermuk people knew in the early Middle Ages. In the Armenian manuscripts Jermuk has been mentioned by Stepanos Orbelian, a 13 century historiographer.

Ջերմուկ առողջարանային քաղաքը գտնվում է Հայաստանի հարավ-արևելյան մասում, Արփա գետի վերին հոսանքում, Վայքից 34կմ հյուսից-արևելք, Երևանից` 173կմ, իսկ Երևան-Բաքու երկաթուղու Երասխ կայարանից 108կմ հեռավորության վրա: Բարձրությունը ծովի մակարդակից 2000-2080մ է :

Սարահարթը, որի վրա տեղավոված է առողջարան-քաղաքը, երեք կողմից շրապատված է Վարդենիսի և Սյունյաց ալպիական փարթամ բուսականությամբ ու անտառապատ լեռներով,որոնց բարձրուփյունը հասնում է 2500-3000մ:Քաղաքի միջով հոսում է հանրապետության ջրառատ գետերից մեկը`Արփան,որը քաղաքը բաժանում է երկու մասի:Արփա գետը սկիզբ է առնում լեռնային աղբյուրներից,խորունկ կիրճով կիսում է գրեթե ամբողջ Վյոց լեռնապարը,իր մեջ առնելով բազմաթիվ գետակների ջրեր և Նախիջևանի տարածքում միանում է մայր Արաքսին:
